Theological Question

What story do we tell in the communion rite? What do we mean by, “The Body of Christ” and “The Blood of Christ”? How is God revealed by the way in which we celebrate this part of the liturgy? What are the primary elements that planners must be aware of?

Goal

Students will learn the ideal way in which this rite flows and how to maximize the potential of the communion rite.

Content

Students will learn to make the theology of “real presence” evident by the way in which the rite is celebrated.
