My husband and I attend different Masses. Depends if we voluteering or time permitting. Taking care of my mother. This week I attended another parish I always feel welcomed, In the 1st min.a short catechsis on Mass ,explained the readings. Before the closing prayer the pastor annouced if there was anyone celebrating their birthday or anniversery to come to the front for a blessing. I personnally think that's make you feel a sense of belonging. then does closing prayer. Music was great.

What a coincidence!
This weekend at all the masses, our Parochial Vicar spoke briefly right after the Prayers of the Faithful. He talked about "silence" in the liturgy...how we have implemented it (or failed to do so), how awkward it makes us feel, why it is important, and how we will be making it more of a focus going forward. He concluded by quoting the first verse of the song, "You Are Mine". It was a great lesson on liturgy for the whole community. I hope we continue to take the time the time to EXPLAIN why we do things.

Hello, Classmates. Looking forward to seeing all of you tonight. Nick...hope your trip is going well and that you will enjoy safe travels.

I haven't been able to log into this site to leave a comment. I discovered that my problem may have been that I was using a lower case "j" in my user name. When I capitalized the "J" in my name I was able to get in. Don't know if this will help anyone else who may have had a problem signing in.

God bless...
